Age: 4-10
Pronouns: he/him
Height: child sized
Baby Art was the child version of an OC I no longer use but I became so attached to Baby Art that he has persisted while the OC he came from is basically dead.
Despite the fact that I call baby Art an orphan constantly, he is actually being raised by two wonderful parents in an upper middle class (if not rich) neighborhood. His parents love him dearly and are doing their absolute best to raise him right, but Art has other plans...
Baby Art swears that he has been contacted by an alien species known as the Greys and that they abduct him on a semi regular basis to conduct experiments on him. These claimed experiences have fueled a passion for ufology and he hopes to get to the bottom of why the Greys picked him and hopefully stop their nefarious plots... and maybe save humanity too, but that's more of byproduct of success than a goal. Art's parents, however, do not believe that he has been abducted by aliens and many trips to the doctors have shown no signs of experimentation or implants. They hope this is just a phase and that he'll grow out of it soon.
Outside of his obsession with fringe science Art is a child who has a hard time fitting in. He does not get along with peers or authority, he is easily frustrated and annoyed, and is often labled as defiant and disruptive by teachers. He has a tendancy to hit first before using words to solve interpersonal disputes and school lessons can't keep his attention as well as a Ripley's Believe It Or Not book can. His parents work tirelessly to try and teach art about compassion and kindness but it's an uphill battle. The one sign that Arthur may have the capacity for kindness is that he's become fond of the family pet, an african grey parrot named Moody! Though their bond took years to establish (from both parties).
